A 45-year-old man has been arrested in Haringey this morning as part of a police investigation into domestic abuse offences.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police attended an address on Shelbourne Road at around 7.15am on Friday, 28 March, where they carried out a targeted arrest operation.
Met Police Statement
A spokesperson for the Met Police confirmed:
“Police attended an address on Shelbourne Road, Haringey at around 07:15hrs on Friday, 28 March, to conduct an arrest attempt in relation to reported domestic abuse offences.
A 45-year-old man was arrested. He remains in custody.
Officers no longer remain in the area and the road has reopened.”
The nature of the offences has not been disclosed at this stage, and no further details have been released regarding the suspect.
Road Closure Lifted
The police presence prompted a temporary closure of part of Shelbourne Road during the arrest, but the road has since reopened, and there is no ongoing disruption in the area.
