A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with a violent incident that occurred in Birmingham last August.

Arrest Details

Officers stopped a suspicious vehicle on Saturday night (11 January).
The suspect attempted to flee on foot but was caught after a short chase.
He was arrested in relation to an attempted murder case from August 2024.

Background of the Incident

On 28 August 2024, police were called to Clapgate Lane, Bartley Green, after reports of a serious attack.
One victim suffered a gunshot wound, while another man sustained a fractured skull.
Both victims are continuing to recover from their injuries.
