A 49-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the sudden and suspicious death of a woman in Lowestoft.
Police were called by the Ambulance Service following reports of a woman’s sudden death. The circumstances surrounding the death are currently being treated as suspicious, pending the results of a Home Office post-mortem examination, scheduled for Sunday, March 2.
The suspect remains in custody at Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre, where he is being questioned by detectives.

Authorities have reassured the public that this is an isolated incident, and that the deceased and suspect were known to each other.
