A 20-year-old man from Bexley has been arrested on suspicion of rape following a serious sexual assault reported in the early hours of Sunday, April 27, in Bexleyheath.
The incident allegedly occurred at around 3:00am near a housing block on Devonshire Road, prompting police to erect a cordon around a nearby alley and parking area shortly afterward.

The suspect was arrested by Metropolitan Police officers on Wednesday, April 30, and has since been released on bail while investigations continue.
