Motorists on London’s M25 are currently experiencing significant delays this morning as a result of a reported accident between Clacket Lane Services and Junction 5 (M26 / A21) on the anticlockwise carriageway.
All vehicles were temporarily held on the M25 at approximately 10:42 AM. Commuters are advised to expect congestion and allow extra time for their journeys. Queueing traffic has been reported for up to two miles.
Surrey Police have been approached for further information regarding the incident.
This incident follows a separate serious crash that occurred on the A13 in East London earlier today. The A13 was temporarily closed as emergency services responded to the incident. One individual is currently in critical condition and receiving treatment at a hospital.
