George england/Blackmoreblackmore/”>Blackmore, 23, from Arundel Drive, Littlehampton, has been locked up for three and a half years. He was convicted at Hove Crown Court for serious child sex offences involving two teenage girls.
Sex Crimes Against Teens
The court heard Blackmore had sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl when he was 19. Around the same time, he also sent explicit messages, images, and videos to a 16-year-old. The 16-year-old victim bravely came forward in 2022, leading to Blackmore’s arrest. Police found indecent images of her on his devices during the subsequent investigation.
Conviction and Sentence
In July 2025, Blackmore was found guilty of two counts of sexual activity with a child but was cleared of rape and other related charges. On 22 September, he was sentenced to prison and given a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order. This order will limit his behaviour both online and offline to protect vulnerable youngsters.
Police Praise Victims’ Courage
“This was a difficult case, but thanks to the courage of the victims we were able to secure a conviction,” said Detective Constable Owen Watkins, who led the probe. “Blackmore poses no risk to the wider public while in prison, and his behaviour will continue to be monitored on release.”
Sussex Police continue their fight to protect children from exploitation. Anyone with concerns about child sexual abuse in West Sussex is urged to report it online, call 101, or dial 999 in an emergency.
