In a significant operation on Tuesday, 6 February 2024, Kent Police successfully dismantled a cannabis production site located at a rural premises in Rolvenden, near Tenterden. The raid was initiated following tips about suspicious activities at the address on Hastings Road, leading to the discovery of an elaborate illegal cultivation operation.

Upon arrival, officers uncovered a well-established grow site consisting of approximately 180 cannabis plants. The setup indicated a sophisticated operation, with evidence of electrical supply tampering to support the cultivation efforts. Safety measures were promptly enacted, with specialists called to the scene to secure the electrical supply and ensure the area was safe.

The cannabis plants were seized and the cultivation equipment dismantled, effectively shutting down the operation. Additionally, during the search of the surrounding area, police discovered a trailer filled with various power tools, suspected to be stolen property.
