On the morning of Friday, January 26, Officers from Kent Police made a sombre discovery in the rural countryside near St Mary’s Bay on Romney Marsh. The lifeless body of a woman was found, and she was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.

While formal identification is yet to take place, authorities have taken steps to inform the family of a 76-year-old woman from Romney Marsh. This individual had been reported missing earlier on the same morning the discovery was made.
