Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a crash on the A28 in Godmersham, Canterbury

Three fire engines attended the scene, where one car had crashed into a ditch.

Crews used hydraulic equipment to remove the door of the vehicle and help one person to safety, before passing them into the care of SECAmb paramedics.
