Huge warehouse fire in Gloucester

A large fire has broken out in a warehouse near Baker’s Quay in Gloucester. Although the building was derelict and empty, the site is reasonably close to the Fanzone at nearby Gloucester Quays. The area is filling up with thousands of fans ready for the match between England Australia. The crowd are at a safe distance and as of now there don’t appear to be plans to evacuate. The smoke can be seen by crowds of people gathered to watch the rugby match between England and Australia.   ‘At 18:47 this evening, Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Service received 999 calls to a warehouse fire in the Quays area of Gloucester. Fire crews attended by 18:51. There are currently 7 vehicles in response, with a further 2 units (one elevated platform, one high velocity pump) en route.’
