Chaos hit Brighton as vandals targeted the HSBC bank on North Street in the dead of night, forcing the branch to shut down.

Windows Smashed and Red Paint Thrown Across Frontage

Just before dawn at 3:50am on Saturday, December 13, a gang of thugs smashed windows and doused the HSBC branch near Bond Street junction with bright red paint. They left a bold message too, spraying “drop Elbit” graffiti on the pavement.

Police Launch Hunt for Vandals Over Criminal Damage

Sussex Police are taking the vicious attack seriously, investigating it as criminal damage. A force spokesperson said:

“Police are investigating a report of criminal damage caused to a bank in North Street, Brighton. The incident is believed to have occurred in the morning of December 13 at about 3.50am.”

Officers urge anyone with info to come forward now. Witnesses can report details online or call 101 quoting serial 358 of 13/12.
