A major fire is currently being tackled on Hounslow High Street, with twelve fire engines and around 80 firefighters on the scene battling the blaze at a three-storey commercial building.
The London Fire Brigade was first alerted at 2:38am, receiving at least 27 emergency calls reporting flames at a mid-terraced shop. The first floor and part of the second floor are confirmed to be alight.
Firefighting Efforts Underway
Crews from Heston, Feltham, Twickenham, and nearby fire stations were deployed to the scene. One of the Brigade’s 32-metre turntable ladders is being used to tackle the flames from above, suggesting the intensity of the blaze.
High Street remains closed while the firefighting operation continues.

A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade confirmed:
“Twelve fire engines and approximately 80 firefighters are attending a fire at a commercial property on Hounslow High Street.
Half of the first floor and part of the second floor of a three-storey shop are alight. Crews remain on scene. The cause of the fire is not yet known.”
Road Closures and Travel Disruption
Hounslow High Street is closed in both directions, with emergency services advising the public to avoid the area. Public transport and local businesses are expected to experience disruption through the morning.
Cause of Fire Unknown
Investigators have not yet determined what sparked the fire. The London Fire Brigade will conduct a full fire investigation once the incident is under control.
There are no immediate reports of injuries, but updates are expected later today.
