In a distressing incident in Derby, a 17-year-old boy is left with serious injuries after a hit-and-run involving a van and a bike. The collision occurred at the junction of Cheviot Street and Hawke Street around 4.30pm on Friday, January 19.
The injured teen, the rider of the bike, was transported to the hospital for necessary medical attention. The vehicle involved in the incident, a Ford Transit van, fled the scene.
