A large emergency response was seen late Saturday night at a QT gas station in Arlington, Texas, amid reports that multiple people had been shot.
Footage shared on social media showed a heavy police presence, with dozens of patrol vehicles, ambulances, and fire trucks surrounding the QT station. Officers were seen cordoning off the area with crime scene tape as paramedics treated individuals at the scene.
The incident unfolded at the gas station located near Interstate 20 and Matlock Road. Details about the number of victims or the severity of their injuries have not yet been officially confirmed.
Arlington Police issued a brief statement on X (formerly Twitter) confirming an active investigation at the location, but declined to release further details pending the notification of families and the ongoing investigation.
Local residents were urged to avoid the area while officers continued their work into the early hours of Sunday morning.
One eyewitness who spoke to local media described hearing “several loud pops” before seeing people running from the gas station into nearby businesses.
