Urgent police enquiries are ongoing this evening after gunshots were fired at a shop in Harrow Road, Brent.
The incident occurred just after lunchtime today, damaging a residential window. Harrow Road has been closed off at the junction with Warfield Road, and the 18 bus route has been diverted.
A spokesperson for Met Police stated, “Police were called at 12:28hrs on Friday, 24 May to reports of shots fired in Harrow Road NW10.
“Officers responded. There were no reported injuries. An extensive area search was conducted but the suspects could not be found. Urgent enquiries to locate them are ongoing. A number of shell casings have been recovered. A shop shutter and a residential window had been damaged. A crime scene is in place and enquiries are ongoing.”
