Kent Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with two linked incidents involving indecent acts committed inside popular coffee shops in Gravesend on Tuesday, 27 May 2025.
Suspicious behaviour reported in Costa Coffee
At around 12.50pm, a teenage girl was reportedly approached by a man inside Costa Coffee, located at the corner of the High Street. The man’s suspicious behaviour prompted the girl to leave when her friends arrived. It is alleged that shortly after, the man committed an indecent act at the same location.
Man exposed himself in Coffee Republic
Approximately 40 minutes later, at 1.30pm, a further report was made of a man exposing himself inside Coffee Republic on New Road. The two disturbing incidents occurred within close proximity and short succession of one another, and officers are treating them as linked.
Police appeal: Do you recognise this man?
Investigators have reviewed CCTV footage, conducted witness interviews, and now released an image of a man who may have key information regarding both offences.
"We are asking the public for help identifying this man. We believe he may have vital information that could assist our investigation," said a spokesperson for Kent Police.
