The government is urgently trying to understand why some people have not received their ballot papers with less then 48 hours before the general election.
Maria Caulfield who is a Conservative minister told Sky News that she was aware of a number of areas where people had not received them.
Postal affairs minister Kevin Hollinrake called on Royal Mail to do all it can go sort the issue out, it comes as the Daily Telegraph reported that people in more then 90 constituencies say they have not received their ballot papers.
There are also concerns in Scotland as many who have gone on holday for the summer holidays have not received them.
Ms Caulfield told Sky News on Tuesday that there were extra resources going into this and sweeps of sorting offices were taking place.
