Four men have been arrested in connection with a serious assault that took place in Folkestone on Friday, April 4.
Kent Police were called to a private address on Firs Lane at around 10:45 am after reports of a violent incident. Upon arrival, officers found a man in his 50s who had sustained serious injuries, including one consistent with a stab wound. The victim was promptly taken to a London hospital for treatment.
Arrests Made
Shortly after the incident, a car was stopped in the Dymchurch area, and two men, aged 45 and 40, were arrested in connection with the assault. Later that same day, officers arrested two additional men, aged 24 and 73. All four men currently remain in police custody.
Police have stated that all individuals involved are known to each other, and at this time, there is no indication of a wider threat to the public.
Ongoing Investigation
Officers remain at the Firs Lane address as they continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the attack. Authorities are working to piece together the events leading up to the assault.
