‘He was a hero’ – Community mourns the loss of Dara
Dara, who had come to London four years ago and worked as a restaurant manager, was reportedly trying to mediate between two men when he was stabbed in the torso. He was treated at the scene by paramedics and then transported to hospital, where he later died from his injuries. His next of kin have been informed.
His close friend Kavan Soleman, visibly emotional, told Metro:
“He was my best friend. He would help anyone and do anything for anyone. The fight was nothing to do with him. He was a perfect citizen, a hero who tried to come between them without worrying about himself.”
Farhan Ali, a local mobile phone shop owner, added:
“He was just a wonderful guy… He recently bought a phone to send pictures to his mum back home. He was the best person—kind, humble, and so peaceful.”
