Firefighters were called to the scene of a shed fire in Rainham this evening (Wednesday, 16 April).
The incident occurred on William Street, prompting a swift response from Kent Fire and Rescue Service at around 5:25pm.
Three fire engines attended the blaze. Crews wearing breathing apparatus used high-pressure hose reel jets to bring the fire under control.
A spokesperson confirmed that no injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
The scene was declared safe just over an hour later, at 6:47pm.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service has not yet issued a statement regarding the cause, but investigations are expected to follow.
Residents in the area are advised to remain vigilant and report any signs of smoke or fire immediately.
