A fire broke out this morning affecting a row of terraced properties in Burke Close, Roehampton, prompting a large response from the London Fire Brigade.
Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters were dispatched to the scene shortly after 9:19am, following reports of a blaze spreading across the ground floors of three adjoining homes.
According to the Brigade, four residents evacuated the properties before crews arrived. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries.
Firefighters from Richmond, Chiswick, Fulham, Battersea, Wandsworth, and other surrounding stations worked quickly to bring the situation under control, with the fire officially extinguished by 11:57am.
A spokesperson for the London Fire Brigade confirmed that an investigation into the cause of the fire is now underway.
Local authorities have urged residents in the area to remain vigilant and to report any safety concerns while investigators assess the damage and source of the incident.
