Firefighters were scrambled to a major house fire in Ashton-under-Lyne on Saturday evening.
Emergency services were called at around 8.15pm on 3 May to reports of a large fire at a semi-detached home on Sheard Avenue.
Multiple fire crews from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene and worked to bring the blaze under control.
Witnesses reported seeing thick smoke rising from the property, with emergency vehicles lining the surrounding streets.
There are currently no confirmed reports of injuries, and fire crews are expected to remain on site into the night to damp down the area and investigate the cause of the fire.
Authorities have urged residents nearby to keep windows and doors closed due to the smoke.
Further updates are expected as investigations continue.
