Fire crews called fuse box fire in Cowes

Fire crews from Newport on the Isle of Wight have attended an electrical installation fire this afternoon. Crews were called just after 4.30pm to Medina Road, Cowes. Doors to the cupboard were removed where it is understood that the fuse box was smoke and had caught fire. Once the power had been isolated firefighters then extinguished the fire using one hose reel jet.
