Fire Crews Called to Chip shop Fire in Brading on the Isle of Wight

Fire crew on the Isle of Wight this lunchtime are dealing with a fire in Brading. Two Crews from Ryde have been called to deal with the blaze that has broken out in a chip shop on the High Street in Brading. A concerned neighbour called the Fire service after plooms of what looked like smoke was issuing from the roof of building of the chip shop. Fire crew attending the incident found that the Owner of the Brothers Chippy was carrying out cleaning work and there was no fire the smoke was steam. Fire crews have now left the scene and returned to the station in Nicholson Road in Ryde. A spokeswoman from Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue said that they has sent a number of resources to the scene at just after 11.30 this morning.
