The family of Charlene Mills has expressed profound grief and paid tribute to the 43-year-old woman who tragically lost her life in an incident on Hyde Road, Gorton, on Saturday, September 30.
Charlene’s passing has left her loved ones devastated, and a 52-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, with ongoing investigations by Greater Manchester Police. In a poignant statement, a family spokesperson shared, “We are so deeply saddened by the sudden loss of Charlene. She was beautiful inside and out and had a personality that would bring a smile to the faces of all that knew her, no matter what the situation.”
Known affectionately as Char, she was described as the perfect daughter and a caring big sister to Amber. Charlene embraced motherhood and cherished her son Rydell and her beloved dog, Boxer. Her resilience, kindness, and playful spirit helped her overcome numerous challenges throughout her life.
“The world just won’t be as fun without her, and our treasured memories of Char are the only little pieces of comfort we have,” the family spokesperson added. The grieving family expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support, including the touching gesture of laying flowers in Charlene’s memory.
