In a poignant tribute, the family of baby Genevieve has shared their profound grief and cherished memories of their little girl. Genevieve’s life was tragically cut short, leaving an indelible void in their hearts.
“It has been just over two years since our beautiful and wonderful daughter’s life was taken from her,” the family expressed. Their pain is palpable, as they yearn for moments that will never come to pass Genevieve’s smile, laughter, and warm embrace.
Genevieve was more than just a baby; she was a vibrant person. She delighted in playing with her tambourine, savouring Spaghetti Bolognese, and spending time with her big sister. Her kindness, independence, and mischievous spirit endeared her to everyone around her.
“We were amazed every day watching her grow and develop,” the family shared. Genevieve’s strength, talent, and joy brought immense happiness. But now, they grapple with the unimaginable—the loss of a future filled with first words, school uniforms, and shared experiences.
The family expressed gratitude to the police, the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), and the legal team who fought for justice. They vowed to honour Genevieve’s memory, ensuring her legacy inspires others.
