The family of Dillon Duffy, an 18-year-old who mysteriously disappeared after travelling to London, is now on a desperate mission to find him. Dillon was last seen by his family when his mother, Donna Duffy, dropped him off near the Asda supermarket in Chadderton, Oldham, on Milne Street at 08:00 on Tuesday, June 18.
However, he never arrived at his intended destination.
Investigations have revealed that Dillon caught a train from Manchester Piccadilly station to Stoke around 15:35 on the same day. From there, he continued his journey to London Euston. The last sighting of Dillon was at Euston station as he left the building and headed toward a taxi rank.
Donna Duffy expressed her anguish, saying, “We are living our worst nightmare, and we want our boy back safe.” The family has been overwhelmed by the support they’ve received from the community. Donna urged everyone to continue sharing information and asked anyone who sees Dillon to contact them.
The Metropolitan Police in Camden has issued an appeal for help in tracing Dillon. They shared two images of him, including details of his last known outfit: a black hooded jacket, grey cap, black tracksuit bottoms, and black and grey trainers. Dillon’s phone has been switched off since Tuesday afternoon, and he has deactivated several social media accounts. Described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, with short dirty blonde hair, Dillon was last seen wearing a dark grey North Face zip-up hooded jacket with a white logo on the front left side. He also wore black slim-fitting tracksuit bottoms and black and grey Nike trainers with white soles.
CCTV images captured Dillon wearing a baseball cap with his newly cut short hair. Additionally, he was seen carrying a black Puma backpack and is believed to have a Simpsons novelty blanket with him.
