The family of Star Tomkins has paid tribute to their beloved daughter following her tragic death in the Feltham crash that claimed three lives. Star, described as having a “heart of gold,” was one of the victims of the collision between a car and a bus near Feltham Young Offenders Institution on April 1st.

“It is with very heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Star Tomkins. She was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and best friend. She had a heart of gold and will be deeply missed by many.”

The tragic incident occurred just before midnight on Bedfont Road, a narrow railway bridge near the institution, when a car collided with an H26 bus. Both vehicles burst into flames, and emergency services were called to the scene. Alongside Star, two other people in the car lost their lives, while a fourth passenger survived with injuries.
Two passengers on the bus were also hospitalized, though their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Several other passengers were treated at the scene.
