The victim was approached by a man as she was walking along Darwin Road at around 12.45am on Sunday 14 July.
He sexually assaulted the woman before being disturbed by a nearby homeowner. The man, who is described as white, tall and wearing dark clothing and shorts, ran off towards Eliot Close, before heading into an alleyway that runs between Wilsthorpe Road and Mannion Crescent.

As well as further proactive patrols a team of detectives have been working round the clock carrying out enquiries to find the man responsible.
During those enquiries information has been received that ties the man seen in the CCTV to the Coventry and Lancaster areas.
Detective Chief Inspector Claudia Musson, who is leading the investigation, said: “This attack is utterly sickening we are working with colleagues both regionally as well as nationally to bring the man responsible for this incident to justice.
“Further patrols continue this weekend – as they have been since the incident – and there have been no further incidents that have been linked to this attack.
“While we have some very positive lines of enquiry and been assisted greatly by the local community – I am sure there is more information in the community that can help us find this man.
“If you have CCTV in any of the above streets please contact us as a matter of urgency – you may hold a vital piece of the puzzle.
“And I would also ask people to share the CCTV clip below as widely as possible and if you know him, please come forward, in confidence if necessary.”
