In a disturbing incident that occurred last weekend, a man in his 50s was viciously attacked by a group of individuals in Bristol’s Millennium Square area. The incident took place between 22.30 and 23.00 BST on Saturday, October 14.
Eyewitnesses reported seeing a group of approximately twelve people riding e-bikes in the area at the time of the assault. Suddenly, several members of this group launched an unprovoked attack on the victim, wielding an unknown item. The attackers were dressed in black and had concealed their faces, making it difficult for witnesses to identify them.
Following the assault, the culprits swiftly fled the scene in the direction of Anchor Road. The victim, who sustained injuries from the attack, was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Thankfully, he has since been discharged.
Local authorities are actively investigating this incident and have already initiated CCTV enquiries in an effort to identify the individuals responsible for this heinous act. The police are urging anyone who witnessed the assault or possesses any information that could aid in their investigation to come forward and contact them immediately.
