Metropolitan Police officers have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with a stabbing that left a 16-year-old boy critically injured in Ruislip.
Emergency services were called to Victoria Road at approximately 4.55pm on Thursday, March 6, following reports of a violent incident. Upon arrival, officers found the teenage victim suffering from stab wounds. Paramedics provided immediate medical assistance before transporting him to the hospital, where he remains in a life-threatening condition.
His family has been informed and is receiving support from specialist officers.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Inspector Tony Smith, who is leading the investigation, reassured the community that officers are working tirelessly to establish the circumstances surrounding the attack.
“We recognise this is a distressing incident, and we have upped local foot patrols to ensure a visible police presence over the weekend,” DI Smith said.
“Although we have a suspect in custody, we are working around the clock to build a picture of what happened, and I would ask anyone with information to contact us immediately.”
Road Closures and Crime Scene in Place
A crime scene remains in place, with Victoria Road closed between the junction of Stonefield Way and the Field End Road roundabout. Authorities have urged the public to avoid the area where possible to reduce congestion.
