Scott Terry, 34, has been locked up for four years after being caught with indecent images of a child he sexually abused. The vile predator, from england/royal-Woottonwootton–Bassettbassett/”>england/royal-Woottonwootton–Bassettbassett/”>Royal Wootton Bassett, was arrested in February 2024 following a police probe that uncovered shocking evidence on his devices.

Indecent Images and Sexual Assault Charges

Further investigations revealed Terry had created indecent images across all three severity categories. He was charged not only with possession but also with two counts of sexual assault on a child and two counts of taking indecent images.

Swindon Crown Court Sends Message

Terry was remanded in custody and later pleaded guilty at Swindon Crown Court on 26 September. The judge handed down a four-year jail term and slapped on an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order to keep the predator monitored for life.
