High-Speed Chase in Sevenoaks: Blue Range Rover Sparks Dangerous Pursuit
Kent Police are hunting for witnesses after a blue Range Rover sparked a terrifying high-speed chase through Sevenoaks on Wednesday afternoon.
Range Rover Flees Police at 60mph in 30mph Zones
The drama unfolded around 4.15pm on 10 September 2025, when officers tried to stop the vehicle on Amherst Hill. The driver ignored orders and sped off, mounting pavements and reaching 60mph in 30mph zones. The chase took place in wet conditions, dangerously close to local schools.
Vehicle Recovered in Otford
The getaway car, with a registration starting SR70, was later found abandoned on Evelyn Road in Otford, near Sevenoaks.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
