Man Caught with Indecent Images of Children
Steven Blackwell, 47, of Ardfillan Road, Catford, admitted to possessing 14 indecent sexual images of children in August 2022. He was handed an eight-month prison sentence, suspended for one year. The court also imposed a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, restricting Blackwell’s internet usage for the next five years.
Erith Stalker Sent Threatening Videos
Mohammad Taraky, 47, of Plantation Road, Erith, pleaded guilty to stalking involving serious alarm or distress. The court heard Taraky harassed a woman between May and August last year, sending abusive and threatening videos. He was sentenced to six months in prison, suspended for one year.
Primark Shoplifter Jailed for Knife Possession
Louise Craig, 45, of no fixed abode, admitted to stealing from Primark on Lewisham High Street and carrying a knife during the offence on February 15. Magistrates sentenced her to four and a half months in prison, citing the seriousness of carrying a weapon in a public place.
Greenwich Flasher to Be Sentenced
Christian Vancea, 37, of Renaissance Walk, Greenwich, admitted to exposing his genitals with intent to cause alarm or distress on February 2. Sentencing has been adjourned to a later date.
