In response to the collision, a 56-year-old man, identified as the driver of the grey Dacia Duster involved, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He has since been released on bail. Additionally, a 63-year-old woman was also arrested and has been released under investigation as part of the ongoing inquiry.
