Police have released CCTV images of two people they wish to identify following a disturbing assault on a 14-year-old girl inside a shop in Maidstone.
The incident occurred around 5.20pm on Friday, 21 March 2025, at Primark on Week Street, where the child was reportedly followed into the store by a man and woman.
According to Kent Police, the pair subjected the girl to a sustained and violent attack, pulling her to the floor by her hair and kicking her in the head. A third woman, who was with the suspects, is said to have verbally abused the victim during the incident.
The young girl sustained several injuries, including hair loss and bruising to her head and knees.
As part of their ongoing investigation, officers have now released CCTV stills showing two individuals they would like to speak with in connection to the assault.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said:
“This was a distressing incident for the young victim, and we are urging anyone who recognises the people in the images, or who may have witnessed the incident, to contact us as soon as possible.”
