Detectives have launched a CCTV appeal and are calling on the public to come forward with information following a violent attempted robbery in Gravesend that left a man with serious leg injuries.
The incident occurred around 4:20pm on Sunday, 16 March, when the victim, who was riding a red Honda motorcycle, was repeatedly kicked by two men on an electric bike as he travelled through Rochester Road into Old Road East.
The ordeal escalated when the victim crashed into metal railings on Parrock Road, at which point the suspects allegedly assaulted him again and attempted to steal the motorcycle. The suspects fled the scene empty-handed on their electric bike, which resembles a motorcycle.
Emergency services attended, and the injured man was taken to hospital for treatment to serious leg injuries.

Kent Police have now released a CCTV image of two individuals they are seeking to identify in connection with the crime. Detectives believe they may hold vital information regarding the attempted robbery.

Officers are urging motorists and residents in the area to check dashcam and CCTV footage between 4:20pm and 4:30pm on Sunday along the following routes:
- Rochester Road
- Lion Roundabout
- Old Road East
- Echo Square
- Parrock Road

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “This was a violent and alarming incident which left the victim with serious injuries. We are determined to identify those responsible and are appealing to the public to help us piece together what happened. Any footage or detail, however minor it may seem, could prove crucial in this investigation.”
