Caravanning on the Isle of Wight with Shane Richie hits TV Screen next month

TV star Shane Richie is back on our screens with his show ‘Caravanning with Shane Richie’ and Away Resorts’ Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park on the Isle of Wight is set to be featured on the Channel 5 show early next month. Former EastEnders star Shane swapped Walford for Whitecliff Bay back in July and was so impressed he brought his family back for a holiday! During his 6-night visit Shane, enjoyed a plush stay in Whitecliff Bay’s suitably named ‘Rockstar’ accommodation type. The 55-year-old actor and singer is the face of Channel 5’s Caravanning with Shane Richie, with the Whitecliff Bay episode to feature on Friday 8th November at 9pm The episode will see 55-year-old Shane and his ‘special guest’ having the time of their lives embracing island life as they escape the London rat race. Not only did they get stuck in, playing bingo with the locals, but Shane also spent an evening under the stars enjoying an alfresco film in the park’s outdoor cinema. The Richie’s trip to Whitecliff Bay is the final episode in the 4-part series commissioned by Channel 5. The other 3 episodes see the family embark on caravanning adventures in North Wales, Devon and Yorkshire. Saving the best park until last however Shane added: “This series has been such fun to be a part of and Whitecliff Bay is a great Park; I even took my family back for a weekend break after filming!” Away Resorts’ Head of Sales and Marketing, Laura Miller, commented: “It was an absolute pleasure to welcome TV legend Shane and the channel 5 film crew to our park, we had great fun hosting him, an absolute character! “We’re even more delighted however to hear that he loved his trip so much that he has since returned.
