Car Ploughs into Southsea Home

FIREFIGHTERS were called out after a car crashed into the front of a building in Southsea. The male driver of the Blue VW was assisted  by firefighters from Southsea. The driver was treated at the scene by paramedics and all the passengers were able to get free from the car and helped by a couple of people from the near by estate agency in Osbourne Road. https://youtu.be/AWT9DUik2jg

 It’s not thought that the driver or passengers  injures are serious.

I think the driver  was trying turn  around and was using the  drive way. I think the car and went forward thinking he was in reverse.There was a baby who was about nine months old  in the back and three other people  they didn’t look hurt just more shook up. The man got out of the  car and put his head in his hands. A spokesman for Hampshire police said: “We were called to a report of a vehicle that had damaged the front of a property in Richmond Terrace, Southsea. The fire service and ambulance service were also called. The vehicle had over shot the driveway and ploughed into the front of the property. It is not believed that anyone was inside at the time.”
