At least five children have been taken to hospital with injuries following a collision involving a bus and a tractor in Kent. The incident occurred on the A227 near Meopham, close to the junction with Chapman’s Hill, around 3.25pm, shortly after the end of the school day.
Emergency services, including the air ambulance, paramedics, police, and firefighters, swiftly responded to the scene. According to Kent Police, several passengers on the bus, including the children, sustained injuries and are receiving treatment in hospital.
The collision happened on the A227 South Street near Culverstone Green, police confirmed. Authorities have urged witnesses and anyone with dashcam or phone footage of the incident to come forward to assist with the investigation.
