A British student nurse has tragically died after being found with multiple stab wounds in her apartment in Houston, Texas.
Elizabeth Tamilore Odunsi, 23, who is reported to be originally from London, was discovered on the kitchen floor of her home after police conducted a welfare check on Friday, 2 May.
Officers, unable to get a response at the door, noticed blood on a rear concrete patio and forced entry into the property. Inside, they found Ms Odunsi with fatal injuries. She was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Police also located a man, later identified as her roommate Chester Lamar Grant, 40, in a bedroom suffering from at least one stab wound. He was taken to hospital in critical condition.
Following treatment, Grant was arrested and charged with the murder of Elizabeth Tamilore Odunsi. He is currently being held at Harris County Jail with bail set at $500,000 (approximately £375,000).
Authorities have not yet released further details regarding a possible motive.
The investigation remains ongoing, and officials are urging anyone with information to come forward.
