A British Airways flight was forced to divert and make an emergency landing in Boston today after suffering severe engine vibrations caused by a bird strike.

Flight BA216, which had departed from Washington D.C. and was en route to London Heathrow, reported issues mid-flight and requested an emergency diversion.

The aircraft landed safely at Boston Logan International Airport, where it was met by emergency crews who escorted it to the stand for inspection. Passengers remained calm throughout the incident, and no injuries have been reported.
