Suffolk Police have launched an urgent appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage after a five-year-old girl was seriously injured in a road traffic collision (RTC) in Beccles.
Incident Details
- Location: Banham Road, Beccles
- Date/Time: Friday 20 June 2025, around 4pm
- Victim: A 5-year-old girl, who was treated at the scene and later taken to James Paget Hospital with a fractured leg
- Suspect: A man in his 50s was arrested on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol
- He was taken into custody for questioning and later released pending further enquiries
The young girl has since returned home after receiving treatment, but police continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash.
Police Appeal
Suffolk Police are now appealing to witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage taken in the Banham Road area at the time of the incident to come forward.
