Arson Probe Launched following Flat Fire in West Molesey

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses after a fire was started in a residential property in West Molesey on Thursday, 12 April. Police were called to Down Street at 00.46am after receiving a report of a fire in a ground floor flat. The building was evacuated and cordoned off. No one was injured. The investigation is still on going. Officers believe the fire was started deliberately. If you saw or heard anything on Wednesday (11th) night at around midnight or early Thursday (12th) morning around 00.46am, detectives would like to hear from you. If you were driving through that area at that time and you have a Dash-Cam fitted, or you live nearby and have any CCTV on your property, you may have caught something, so please call Surrey Police on 101 quoting reference number PR/45180037663.
