Armed police from the Met and the City of London were called to Aberfeldy House, Brandon Estate, John Ruskin Street just before 3 a.m. on Sunday morning 2nd March 2025  following reports of a serious stabbing.

Officers with guns drawn descended on the notorious Southeast London estate, swiftly securing the area as they carried out their operation. It is understood that they made entry into a property within the block.

Multiple arrests have been made by armed officers, though the exact number and details of those detained have not yet been confirmed by authorities.

Emergency services, including paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, responded to the scene and provided urgent medical treatment to the victim.

The stab victims clothing remains cut off at the side of the road in the gutter after armed officers are understood to have rendered first aid  to the man.  Their current condition remains unknown at this time.

A crime scene remains in place at both locations as police continue their investigation. We have reached out to the London Ambulance Service, Metropolitan Police, and local authorities for further updates.

Residents of the estate reported a heavy police presence and cordons restricting movement in the area.

The incident has sparked concern among locals, with many expressing fears over ongoing violence in the neighborhood.

Authorities have not yet disclosed any motive for the attack or whether the victim and suspects were known to each other.
