Police have arrested three teenage boys following a serious assault at a secondary school near Queen Elizabeth Park this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 12:33hrs on Thursday, 13 March, after reports of a stabbing within the school premises.
A 15-year-old boy was found with a stab wound to his leg. He was taken to hospital for treatment, and while his injuries are not believed to be life-changing, he remains under medical care.
Officers arrested three boys on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH). They are currently in police custody as investigations continue.
A police spokesperson confirmed that a crime scene remains in place, and officers are working closely with school staff to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
All pupils have since been cleared from the building as a precaution. No other injuries have been reported.
Police have urged anyone with information or footage related to the incident to come forward as enquiries remain ongoing.
