Police are appealing for witnesses after two men were arrested in connection with an attempted robbery in Ethelbert Road, Cliftonville, during the early hours of Saturday, 22 February 2025.
Officers were called to reports of a disturbance at approximately 12:38 AM, where it was alleged that two men had tried to steal a push bike from another man.
Responding officers conducted a search of the area and subsequently arrested two men, aged 36 and 29, on suspicion of attempted robbery. Both suspects have since been bailed pending further investigation.
Kent Police are now seeking the public’s help to gather more information about the incident. They are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who witnessed the attempted robbery or who may have relevant mobile phone, CCTV, or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident.
A spokesperson for Kent Police said, “We are keen to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the events in Ethelbert Road or who has footage that could help our investigation. Your information could be vital in helping us understand exactly what happened.”
