Police have launched an urgent manhunt after a man allegedly committed an act of outraging public decency by following a woman and two children around a Nottinghamshire Aldi while engaging in an indecent act.
The disturbing incident occurred on Saturday 21 June at the Aldi store on Nottingham Road, Bingham.
Incident Summary
According to Nottinghamshire Police, the suspect trailed the woman and her two children throughout the store while performing an indecent act, prompting a criminal investigation and public appeal.
A CCTV image of the man believed to have vital information about the incident has been released.
Police Statement
Police Constable Jason Bailey of Nottinghamshire Police said:
“The force treats all offences of this nature extremely seriously.
“We believe the person in this image may have information that can help our inquiries and urge him or anyone who recognises him to get in touch at the earliest opportunity.”
“Likewise, if you have any other information about the incident, please contact police.”

The appeal comes as serious sexual offence reports against women in Nottinghamshire have seen a 223% increase in May 2025, highlighting growing concerns around public safety and sexual violence in the county.
