Essex Police have confirmed they are responding to concerns for someone’s welfare on the Dartford Crossing. A spokesperson said, “Traffic is being held, and we will work to resolve this situation as quickly and safely as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

There are currently three miles of congestion on approach to the Dartford Crossing.

Traffic has been temporarily released on the southbound lanes at the Dartford Crossing. However, two lanes (of four) remain closed while the incident is ongoing.

Long delays are building on the approach to the Dartford Crossing. Traffic was also temporarily held on the northbound side.
