Drivers across Kent and southeast England are being warned of overnight road closures and diversions on the A2 and surrounding routes as part of a planned maintenance programme taking place throughout the early part of Easter week.
The works, led by National Highways, are aimed at improving road safety and infrastructure reliability on one of the UK’s most crucial routes. The A2 corridor, which spans nearly 72 miles from Dover to Borough in central London, plays a vital role in both commuter and freight travel, especially between the Port of Dover and the M25.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead as the closures could cause delays and diversions across key entry and exit points.
